Many of my paintings
reflect an inspirational Christian art theme. The paintings allow me to share with others
the reassurance and comfort in the Christian faith and the gifts the Lord has provided my
family and me. I am forever grateful for his blessings and hope that you also find comfort
and appreciation of the Savior in my Christian paintings.  I have chosen two works to
share with you that mean a lot to me. The first one is the print entitled "Forgiven," both inspiring and enlightening.
The second work is an original acrylic canvas, "Mary's
View." It has been displayed at some of the churches in our area, always

A deeply
moving and inspirational rendition of Christ's suffering and agony on the cross. In this
painting, the true meaning of God's purpose for his son is completed in the last moments
of Christ's earthly life. The dark tones symbolize sin and death while white highlights
represent God's love and forgiveness of sins for all people. People in my area have purchased this print for their homes,
as a gift to a church, a nursing home, or other Christian organization. |

My rendition of "Mary's View" depicts Christ from his
mother's viewpoint at the base of the cross, physically as well as emotionally. Jesus'
eyes are transfixed upon the viewer's eyes as they may have been on Mary's. There is a
peacefulness upon Christ's face as he knows this is God's will. The red flowing from
Christ emphasizes the blood poured out for all the people. |
